De La Garza (DG) rooms are only available during LCC Official Business hours. 

Semester Office hours :
Monday - Thursday  8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Friday 8:00 A.M. - 12:00 NOON
Summer Session Office hours:
Monday-Thursday    8:00am - 7:00pm

 



(Requests by Profit Organizations/Groups will not be considered.)

A fee of up to $500 may be imposed on non-college users for the use of any DG room.

that if the requested event takes place in the evening/weekend,
                            I will be responsible for:

·   turning off the equipment, computer, PA System – if used;

·   and ensuring that doors to the requested room are locked;

·   and I will notify the LCC Campus Police in the event that the
    doors are unlocked.

Please note: A fee for any equipment requests through the Media Center (956-721-5323) may be imposed.


Other Instructions: 

TERMS OF USE

ROOM RESERVATION:

Ø  Submission of "De La Garza Room Reservation Form” does not guarantee requester room reservation.

Ø  The Distance Learning secretary will send a reply email within 24 – 48 hours to confirm the room reservation.

Ø  LCC reserves the right to cancel any room reservation with notice.

Ø  LCC Academic events take priority to any outside community activities.

Ø  Groups/Organizations using DG facilities are responsible for any damages, theft or loss of equipment.

Ø  Reservations must be made 30 days in advance.

FEES:

Ø  Room requests from Profit Organizations or Groups might be considered, but a charge will be assessed.

Ø  A fee of up to $500 may be imposed on non-college users for the use of any DG room.

Ø  Any fees assessed are payable prior to actual date of usage.

SET-UP:

Ø  LCC Users: The rearranging of room furniture in DG101 should be requested with ample time by contacting Physical Plant to:

·         Modify room arrangement needs.

·         Return the room furniture to its original setup after the event.

Ø  Non College Users: Rearrangement of furniture is NOT allowed. 

CLEAN-UP:

Ø  No food or drink in DG 101 by outside groups using the facility is allowed.

Ø  LCC users are responsible for ensuring that room is cleaned-up; this includes disposing of garbage, removing all trays, and left over food before leaving the room.  

CATERED EVENTS:

Ø  Please make arrangements directly with campus cafeteria.

SUPPLIES AND/OR COPIES:

Ø  As per college policy, the photocopier is strictly for LCC office use.

Ø  Please bring supplies and copies with you to your event.

Ø  A phone (ext. 5605) is located in DG101 and DG108, and it can be used for on-campus and local calls.
